BUYING AND SELLING GUIDE

SELLING PROPERTY
1. Prepare the contract documents and ask you to complete a list of items included in the sale and a Property Questionnaire.
2. Send Contract Papers to the Buyers Solicitor and answer any questions they raise upon Contract Papers.
3. Agree the moving date, called “Completion”, with you and the Buyers Solicitor.
4. Re-pay your mortgages, pay any Estate Agent and other expenses, send any balance to you or use it to buy your new home.
BUYING PROPERTY
1. Apply for Searches, check the Contract Papers and any HIP, raise questions on paperwork.
2. Report to you on the Searches, Contract Papers, answers to any questions and any Mortgage you are having.
3. Agree the “Completion” date with the Sellers Solicitors, Transfer the purchase monies, deal with Stamp Duty and Land Registry formalities.
4. Send you and any Lender copies of the Title showing you as the new owner.
